THE TOE TACTIC is animator Emily Hubley's feature film debut. The screenplay was work developed at the Sundance Screenwriters and Directors Labs; the film will combine live action with animation. THE TOE TACTIC tells the story of a young woman grieving her father's death and hunting for her lost wallet in a world populated by lonely neighbors, animate objects and a songwriting Elevator Man - all of whom are manipulated by a capricious card game played by four animated dogs. The film addresses serious topics with humor and a groundbreaking visual style.
